Individual drain technology solutions

Tailor-made bathroom drains, channels and floor drains

In areas where water accumulates openly, it needs to be reliably discharged. We can supply you with a wide range of drains and channels for this for the private and commercial sector. If standard solutions are not suitable in your property, we will gladly make product adaptations or develop completely new products for your specific application. The following selection of typical applications shows how this can be achieved in practice.

Example 1

Door and renovation channels

If vertical drainage from the stainless steel channel is not possible for structural or visual reasons, the channel can be used with a horizontal connection to allow connection to another existing drainage pipe or to allow penetration of the ceiling at another point.

Commercial grate covers

Stainless steel channels in kitchen and swimming pool areas differ mainly in terms of dimensions. In most cases, box channels with a glued flange are used to secure the waterproofing layer in accordance with DIN EN 18534. Grated covers, bar grates and plate covers are used in kitchens and commercial areas.

Grate covers in barefoot areas

It is particularly important to consider slip-resistant grates in barefoot areas. KESSEL offers a variety of designs for this. Individual customer requests, such as integrating a separate logo, can also be realised taking DIN EN 1253-1 into account.

Base plinth channels

The installation of stainless steel channels in front of a kitchen base plinth requires precise planning, especially with regard to the distance to the channel, waterproofing layer and tile connection. In order to simplify the construction process, base plinth channels with a threshold all the way round are often used, which simplify the lining and waterproofing layer and reduce the risk of leaks.
