It couldn’t be more flexible. The Universal is a versatile basement drain for faecal-free wastewater. It is equipped with a backwater valve and a manually lockable emergency closure. It has three inlets as a standard feature (two in DN 50 and one in DN 70). The telescopic upper section is also rotatable, tiltable and height-adjustable. This ensures it provides maximum freedom for the design and installation.
The Universal is optionally available with a slotted cover made of polymer or stainless steel.

Possible applications
The Universal is the ideal basement drain for new buildings: It is suitable both for installation in watertight cellars and for alternative waterproofing layers – thanks to an intermediate section and waterproofing membrane. Three horizontal inlets for drainage points such as showers, washbasins or washing machines provide more freedom for the planning.
How it works
The basement drain with an integrated backwater valve reliably protects against wastewater flowing back from the sewer. Drainage points connected to the drain, such as showers, washbasins and washing machines, are also protected. The backwater valve can be locked manually during heavy rain or in the event of an extended absence.
