Pipe penetrations

Applications: kitchen areas as well as industrial applications

Pipe penetrations for media pipes or electrical cables in kitchens or industrial applications require secure integration and incorporation into the floor structure and waterproofing layer(s).

KESSEL offers pipe penetrations in a single or double layer design for this purpose. They are available either with a glued flange or a pressure sealing flange.

You can choose between round or square pipe penetrations that can be combined on a flange plate.

Minimum spacing for pipe penetrations with a pressure sealing flange

The adjacent figure shows the spacing that needs to be taken into account when designing/planning a pipe penetration. In order to meet the highest requirements of DIN 18534 "Waterproofing for indoor applications" W-3I, a flange width of 50 mm is always required for the connection of the waterproofing layer.

Standard pipe penetrations / pipe sleeve table

The following standard pipe penetration types are available at short notice (see table)

Even more possibilities

Pipe end closures with PG screw threads and ring seals between media and pipe sleeves can also be supplied on request.

The supply of thermal insulation/insulation and fire protection must be coordinated on site on a project-specific basis.
