Base plinth channels

Applications: kitchen areas as well as industrial applications

The arrangement of stainless steel channels in the area or in front of a kitchen base plinth requires detailed planning. Kitchen base plinths are very often used in cooking areas when positioning kitchen equipment such as tilting pans or kettles. Various requirements must be taken into account in an installation situation like this.

Kitchen base plinths are very often used in cooking areas when positioning kitchen appliances such as tilting pans or kettles. So that the entire lining and integration into the screed can take place during the construction process. The transition of the waterproofing layer from the horizontal area of the floor to the base plinth must also be taken into account. How is the tile connected at the transition to the base plinth? Cross-trade coordination is absolutely necessary here. Base plinth channels are often used to reduce the coordination effort and simplify the construction process.

By positioning the stainless steel channels directly at the base plinth with a threshold all the way round along the kitchen base plinth, this significantly simplifies the lining, waterproofing layer and the tile connection at the base plinth. The risk of leaks in the area of the kitchen base plinth is therefore minimised as much as possible.
